Mexico

Well, we made it back and just in time to enjoy the latest snow storm, perfect. Rumor has it it was eighty degrees while we were gone but I see no proof of that. We still dutifully dawned our winter jackets to head out today just like before we left.

Enough ranting and on to the good stuff. We had so much fun with our friendly neighbors to the South. It was mid to high eighties, our resort was right on the beach, cell phones didn't work, childless, and 24 hour buffets...heaven.

Here are some highlights.

Mark just chillin' in the hammock at our hotel.

This is what I did while Mark was having a siesta. I made myself a little sand friend to keep me company.

One downfall of going on vacation by yourselves is you end up with a lot of "take it yourself, arm outstretched" pictures.

We asked our waiter to take our picture (to avoid the double chin look, see above photos) and he brought props. "Shoot woman, shoot woman!" he kept saying and thought he was so funny.

You are probably asking yourself,"Is that on a remote tropical island with natural water inlets?" No just our hotel. Pretty impressive, huh?

More to come. Otherwise, picture overload.

Oh my gosh. I am so jealous and so glad you are home. I found myself just holding the phone to my ear and venting to no one on the other line. Thank goodness you are back, Brade was beginning to worry!! You look so HOT!

Amy,
SO GREAT! Love the pictures! Love Mexico (did you pick up some "designer" sunglasses?)! I'll be waiting anxiously for more pictures. I'm so jealous!! My tan from February is only a distant memory.
