On a Lighter Note
First of all, thank you so much to all of our friends and family for expressing their concern and support. It is so nice to know that we are so loved and that so many are willing to help. It is true that it was an emotional weekend but life goes on. I am sure that I will have many emotional days along the way but really nothing in our day to day life is any different. Go to park, eat chicken nuggets, and fill the bathroom sink with crayons, just another regular, wonderful, day. Jackson is still the same happy kid that he has always been. In an attempt to deter the somber mood of my blog here is some news on a lighter note. Even amongst all the emotional commotion this weekend Mark couldn't have been happier because it was the opening weekend of football and his beloved Seahawks were on primetime. Last Spring Mark bought Jackson a Seattle Seahawks jersey with his name on it. Nice thought but I think Mark expected our son to be a 6'5", 250 pound, line backer by his second birthday. No such luck.

So Cute...Maybe football playing is in his future!?!
Cute jersey! My girls both have Broncos stuff and Trav was super excited the Denver-Oakland game was on Monday Night Football this week too. Looks like you guys have the same NFL Fever we have at our house! PS I love your blog! You write so well!
Amy,
Whoops! I was trying to fix it but deleted it. Anyways, Jackson is adorable! I love the jersey. I'm sorry about you're "news" but I can already tell by your positive attitude that Jackson will be fine.
Of course he will be the size of a linebacker, just look at his dad.
He looks soooo stinkin' cute! He is such a darling little boy. Sorry to hear about your news. I agree with the other comments about that he is still the same adorable little boy he was just the day before you found out!! I loved reading that... really uplifting. When are we getting together again? Our thoughts are with you!
How cute is that, he is such a stud. You guys are such great parents and Jackson is lucky to have you!
Cute new background!
I am sorry to hear about what you have been going through. I have never seen you in action as a mother but I read your blog:) I am so impressed by what a sweet and caring mother you are. Not that you wouldn't be but I think you are extra good at it. Jackson is lucky to have you by his side.
Maybe he can use the jersey as a night shirt until he fills it out a little more.
One day!! It's adorable!
