In contrast here are some confessions from the past week.
- Sprayed my hair with body spray instead of washing it after going to the gym.
- Shared a lunch of graham crackers and gold fish from a baggie, left over from church, while driving, with Jackson.
- Scrounged a dollar in change from the ash tray to buy chicken nuggets at the drive thru when the baggie was empty.
- Grabbed one of Jackson's socks and one of Charlie's socks on accident and put them on Jackson anyway.
- Built a leaning tower of diapers in the garbage can.
- Wrestled my two year for the remote to watch a rerun of Gilmore Girls instead of the third round of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
- Called Mark to bring home takeout after feigning a nasty headache.
- Sprayed the clothes in the dryer with water and turned them on for five minutes instead of ironing.
Whew, I feel better and hopefully you are thinking, "Hey, I'm doing alright." I have that same feeling every time I look around at the Walmart clientele.

Hey I should take a pic of my house to even make you feel better. Popsicle sticks are stuck to my carpet and at least you have the clothes in the dryer and the diapers in the trash can...one step ahead of me. Ah but totally worth it when you sit down and snuggle one of your babies!
Oh and skinny jeans....yeah what are they?
Sometimes I just put the vacuum in the middle of the front room right before Tim comes home to make it look like I was going to clean, but got so swamped... good times, good times.
Ah the things we do to make it look like we were trying SO hard! I snuggled down with a book ALL DAY yesterday. The ENTIRE day. And 10 minutes before my husband was to arrive, I did the dishes. I didn't brush my teeth or my hair or change my clothes, I did the dishes. And guess what? It worked like a charm! He didn't notice anything else other than the dishes were done! Whoa!!
And I may have had dragon breath all day to boot!
You're doing great Amy!! Love the socks idea. I'll let you know when I find my skinny jeans again.
That is funny, I have those perfect days nearly weekly. You should really start trying harder! I just don't think you are doing all you can do!
I am pretty sure if I ever get out the iron Brade will surely collapse and isn't that what the church bag is for. It stays in the car all week for provisional purposes!
was so funny and so true that is me everyday
:) haha lol, your house is always clean!
hmm.. spray water in the dryer huh? ... Thanks for the new idea! I've had my laundry in the dryer for about 3 days now.
You are HILARIOUS!! I was laughing so hard!! I am glad that OTHER Mom's feel like this!! Somedays I think if 'Mom' were a job, I would be fired!!
Ha ha, you make me laugh. Don't worry, you are doing much better than the me. The last skinny jeans I wore were Girbaud's.
I am so glad you are normal! Although I won't be suprised if you did get Mom of the year award!I sure love you!
