Speaking of glory days, I headed to the local Walmart on our final day of play and bought out all their orange, curly ribbon, present toppers to add a little bling to our ensembles. Nothing says intimidation like matching hair flair.

Summer Games
This weekend was spent in Cedar City conquering the summer games. Apparently they even have 'washed-up, moms, trying to relive their glory days', leagues. We armed ourselves with borrowed jerseys, plenty of Advil, a strong fan base, and headed south. My mom was kind enough to join me in the adventure and I couldn't have asked for a better travel companion and supporter. I think she was reliving the glory days of her soccer momhood as well.

What a fabulous weekend trip- Soccer with the girlies, movies, eating out, sleeping through the night, and singing along to the Carpenters with my mom all the way home.
