So Jackson went in for his one year appointment and his head is still growing at an exceptionally faster rate than the rest of his body. The doctor actually said, "I'm not worried because it has been big all along." Does this mean that normally a noggin of his proportion would cause concern in the medical community if not for the gianormity he has endured sense birth? Poor kid, getting a shirt over his head is quite the struggle and he completley missed the 0-6 months size in hats.
On the paper the nurse gave me with his stats it reads: Weight 23 lbs 45%, Length 31" 80%, Head circ 49cm >95%. (Alligator mouth pointing away is 'greater than' right?) They must stop the actual numbers at 95% just so the parents don't feel too bad. I know, big head, big brain but is just as bad as saying someone has a sweet spirit. Oh well, still love the kid big head and all.

That haS to be the creepieSt photo I have ever Seen. A big head juSt meanS he haS more brain in there! That iS why we love him!
Aim, truly that is how Riley's doc. apt. went. and I think she is fine. She was always the 95th for head but 25th or lower for height and weight so that is even weirder. She only weighed 18 at a year. I think Jackson is perfect.
that picture is really awful. Don't stress too much. Zoee's head always measured small. I don't know what's worse, a big head or a really small head? psssh, Doctors smocters...they don't know anything!!
